In the US the big news over the last 2 months are all the festival lineups, stange really because all the festivals are just duplicates of each other albeit in different parts of the states (except for SxSW I guess but that’s only because they simply invite every band that will pay the registration fee). So I imagine I should work up some enthusiasm for Emmaboda Festival that just released it’s first booked bands. I’ll probably be writing about as many of the bands playing this fest in the coming weeks. I’ll start with one I hadn’t heard of before.
64Revolt take the ping pong video game music of 047 and speed it up a couple notches and add a little furious electro-punk energy. They’ve posted a new song that’s unreleased recently.
