Against what could be insurmountable odds the small, flegling indie pop label Series Two Records based out of Nebraska will be releasing some fine Swedish music over the next couple of months. Their first release by Oh! Custer (wrote about `em here) is an ep called States (it also includes the older Leaves ep as bonus tracks).
With Oh! Custer it’s all hard jangle pop with beautiful vocals that hide beneath and behind the guitar and elements of noise. I’m still hearing Galaxie 500 guitars and Felt-like vocals. “Post” is one of the standout tracks.
