I was scouring the net for music to post for my other blog Songs:Illinois when I came across a new song by Grumpy Bear. In fact it was a cover of a Depeche Mode song that’ll be part of a new compilation of DM covers on Asaurus Records called Letting You Down Again – Lo-fi Vs. Depeche Mode. How does this relate to you, oh wonderful fan of Swedish music? Well on the Grumpy Bear MySpace page there was an item about a collaboration they’d done recently with none other than Anna Järvinen. Perfect, I thought, and it was. So here it is:
