Gothenburg based Bonnie and Clyde have a throwback pop sound complete with soaring harmonies, jagged guitars and an omnipresent 60’s sounding tambourine. They’ve been labeled indie pop and they do a fair share of jangle pop, but their sound is bigger than that. With 6 (or is it 7?) members playing and singing they create a sound that can’t be simplified and placed in any one of these popular sub genres.
The band is releasing their new EP, the cleverly titled The Great Tram Robbery, on June 7 on Bonjour Recordings. Here’s a song from the upcoming 4 song EP as well as the accompanying video. Enjoy.
