You’d have to be on another planet not to at least have heard of Buffet Libre’s 80’s cover project. The Spanish website has embarked on the auspicious mission of covering all the great songs from the 80’s. They’ve signed up a ton of great bands and are giving all the music away for free. I’d been staying away until now, but with this Billy Idol cover by Friday Bridge I can remain quiet no longer.
After listening to this sterling cover I now want to go though the entire site and listen to all the bands and their favorite covers from the 80’s. The Swedes are well represented on this four disc compilation, below I’ve chosen my favorites.
