It’s been four years since the Gothenburg based label Vapen & Godis quietly disappeared without any fanfare. The label’s website simply stopped posting new music. There was no message or note explaining why the demise of this once prominent indie pop/electro Swedish label. At the time I, and I expect others, were hoping it would just be a break, a short hiatus, and not goodbye forever. As a result the label never had a proper sendoff on Swedesplease or anywhere else for that matter. It may be too late for that now, but since the songs by and large stood the test of time I bring you Vapen & Godis revisited.
