For the next 27 days or so I could easily have enough content to write about just from one album. The new one from I’m From Barcelona is called 27 Songs From I’m From Barcelona and it is just that. 27 songs from 27 artists in the I’m From Barcelona coop. Each day (starting a couple of days ago) the band will be releasing one song as a free download from the record. On Feb. 22 theoretically you’ll be able to go to the site and download the whole album.
This is a delightful concept and it circumvents the one problem the band could possibly encounter: that is big ego’s. Here’s the song that was released yesterday by Anna Fröderberg.
