I first heard about Jonna Lee a couple of years ago. From her MySpace page it seemed she was putting on an indie pop club night in Stockholm. It seemed to be held on a regular basis and the bands she chose were top notch. SO I began to associate great Swedish indie pop with the name Jonna Lee.
As it turns out I never truly got into Joann Lee despite her last record being released by the great Swedish label Razzia. I’m going to give her another chance and see her live on Friday, March 19 at 9:20 PM at Stephen F’s Bar in Austin.
PS Director Mats Udd emailed a link to the latest video he created. It’s by the romantic Swedish crooner Joel Alme. “If You Got Somebodys Waiting” is the second single off Joel Alme’s album Waiting For The Bells on Razzia (see how I did that – both artists on Razzia – pretty good, right?)
