Over the past week I’ve gotten solicitations from any number of Swedish acts ranging from reggae to pop to the inevitable remixes that the internet never seems to bore of. But it’s this music I discovered searching the web that makes me want to post something today.
The music by Our Crooked Teeth lands somewhere at the intersection of Galaxie 500, Neil Young, and J Tilman. This song is from the band’s Albatross EP which I believe was just released in Sweden. The band, a duo consisting of Forsberg and Holmberg, make slightly spooky ethereal experimental pop that careens and oozes out of the stereo like a bad dream.
