I’m a day late and a dollar short (and a year behind the times). But after poking around on the internet all morning this is the best thing I have to share with you. These songs are from a band called FLL out of Sweden who recorded and released their debut cd in 2009. Confusingly the record is called Songs from 1983. The band consists of one Fredrik Forell and friends.
The instrumentation is eclectic, the songs diverse, and the styles far ranging. These two songs remind me of that great Swedish band The Second Band who have seemed to disappear off the face of the earth.
