So at the time of my first post on Mother Of The Forest I thought this was perhaps just another random Swedish electronic artist that would be a one and done situation. Someone that we wouldn’t hear from again for years, if ever. Wow was I wrong about that. The suddenly prolific artist has just released another ep. This time with guests like Mattias Alkberg and Magnus Ekelund. The songs on the ep are unified by the staccato burst of electronics that punctuate and enliven each song. Vocals are processed and distant in the mix adding to both the spookiness of the tracks and the prominence of the electronic bursts.
